Associate Manufacturing Operator (Pharmaceutical Manufacturing)

Location: Leiden, South Holland, Netherlands; onsite work on a shift roster

Salary: €34,200–€50,600 gross annual base pay

What you will do

• Execute production and administrative tasks under direct supervision, following standard operating procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Document daily activities and record gaps between target and actual results.
• Escalate concerns to leaders to protect quality, schedules, and compliance.
• Complete required training and develop a strong understanding of SOPs and GMP.
• Apply standardized work and process-improvement methods to improve safety, quality, reliability, cost, and scheduling.
• Follow company policies, the Code of Business Conduct, applicable laws, and Johnson & Johnson’s Credo.

Requirements

• Relevant MBO-2 diploma with at least 18 months of meaningful experience, or a non-relevant MBO-2 diploma with at least 3 years of meaningful experience.
• B1 level in Dutch or English is required.
• Basic MS Office skills and entry-level familiarity with business applications.
• Ability to document activities accurately and follow SOPs and GMP.
• Ability to support processing tasks involving ingredients and/or pharmaceutical products.
• Quality-oriented, precise, flexible, positive, and able to work shifts and complete training on schedule.

Nice to have

• Experience with administrative support, plant operations, operational excellence, gap analysis, or process optimization.
• Knowledge of chemistry, manufacturing, and control processes.
• Data compilation, analytics dashboards, project administration, or regulatory compliance experience.
