Technical Program Manager

Location: Hybrid in Zurich, an available EOR location, or Barcelona, Catalonia

What you will do

• Lead an integrated robot platform program from charter through development, industrialization, launch, early-life reliability, and handover.
• Own the integrated program plan, including scope, milestones, dependencies, critical path, product-cost targets, and delivery gates.
• Align hardware, software, industrialization, supply chain, certification, quality, verification and validation, service, and launch-readiness workstreams.
• Identify cross-functional risks and trade-offs, assess technical, cost, and schedule implications, and recommend practical decisions.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, the CTO, and Operations on requirements, certification sequencing, make-or-buy decisions, industrialization, and external-partner execution.

Requirements

• Significant experience leading complex technical programs in robotics, autonomous systems, industrial technology, automotive, aerospace, medical devices, or another advanced hardware environment.
• Experience shipping a certified, volume-manufactured mechatronic product through development, industrialization, and commercial launch.
• Strong engineering foundation in mechanical, electrical, mechatronic, robotics, systems engineering, or a related discipline.
• Technical depth in system architecture and system-level risk assessment, without needing to personally design every solution.
• Strong command of program planning, critical-path management, structured product-development processes, and change control.
• Experience with product cost, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, certification, external partners, and influencing senior stakeholders without direct authority.

Nice to have

• Experience delivering industrial robots, autonomous machines, or other complex mechatronic systems.
• Experience with safety-critical, hazardous, or highly regulated products.
• Experience with platform reuse, architectural evolution, derivative programs, and international certification such as CE or UL.
• Experience transferring products from prototype or internal production into serial production with an EMS, ODM, or other external manufacturing partner.
