Human Capital Consultant

Location: Chicago or Evanston, Illinois, United States; hybrid working model combining work from home with on-site presence at clients or hirify.global offices. Client-facing work requires travel as needed.

Salary: $95,000–$110,250 per year, plus potential COLA, bonuses, benefits, and relocation support.

What you will do

• Design role architectures, job descriptions, and competency frameworks.
• Support structured talent selection, competency-based assessments, behavioral interviews, and simulation-based evaluation tools.
• Help design onboarding journeys, learning programs, capability activation journeys, and sustainment mechanisms.
• Support talent assessment and diagnostics solutions, including AI-enabled capability assessment tools.
• Contribute to learning analytics, coaching programs, and leadership development solutions.
• Conduct research and analysis, develop client-facing deliverables, facilitate workshops, support project management, and contribute to talent and learning intellectual capital.

Requirements

• 3–4 years of experience in talent management, learning and development, HR consulting, organizational development, or a related field.
• Strong written and verbal communication, structured thinking, analytical ability, attention to detail, and quality control skills.
• Ability to collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams, manage multiple workstreams, and prioritize under deadlines.
• Background or coursework in organizational psychology, human capital, instructional design, or a related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and fluency in English.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without current or future employer sponsorship; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with LMS or LXP platforms and eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline.
• Experience with AI-enabled assessment platforms.
• Basic coding ability in HTML, CSS, or JavaScript.
• Certifications in talent assessment, instructional design, coaching, or HR.
• Experience in life sciences or adjacent sectors.
