IT Systems & Operations Engineer (Spain Only)

Location: Remote, Spain Only; based in León, Spain. Regular working hours may extend until approximately 7 p.m. Spain time to overlap with US colleagues.

What you will do

• Build, test, and maintain AI agents and workflows that automate internal processes and improve employee productivity.
• Explore practical AI use cases, integrate AI tools with internal systems and data sources, and contribute to MCP server configuration.
• Administer workplace SaaS platforms such as Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and other internal tools.
• Support SSO, IAM, RBAC, directory services, personnel data integrations, systems migrations, and M&A-related initiatives.
• Manage employee IT support, onboarding and offboarding, device provisioning, endpoint management, MDM, and company hardware lifecycle activities across Spain and EMEA.
• Create IT documentation, collaborate with global IT, and develop backup coverage for the Spain-based IT Engineer.

Requirements

• Around 2–3 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, workplace technology, technical support, or a related area; equivalent practical experience is considered.
• Hands-on exposure to AI tools, agents, automation, or AI-enabled workflows, plus a genuine interest in developing deeper AI expertise.
• Experience supporting workplace SaaS platforms and working knowledge of at least two operating systems, such as Windows, macOS, or Linux.
• Experience with endpoint management, device provisioning or MDM, employee IT support, and onboarding or offboarding processes.
• Basic familiarity with SSO, IAM, SAML, directory services, or RBAC, together with the ability to troubleshoot, document, and escalate technical issues.
• Must be based in Spain and comfortable working until approximately 7 p.m. Spain time on a regular basis. Fluent English is required.

Nice to have

• Practical MCP knowledge or experience experimenting with MCP servers.
• Experience creating AI agents, automations, or integrations with APIs, scripts, or low-code platforms.
• Familiarity with Entra ID, Okta, OneLogin, systems migrations, M&A integrations, or SaaS implementation projects.
• Basic PowerShell, Bash, or Python scripting skills.
• Experience working with Security, Compliance, or GRC teams.
