IT Systems Engineer (Identity)

Location: Vancouver, Canada; office-centric hybrid schedule with in-office days on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Working from home on Wednesdays is generally available, while Fridays depend on the role and partner teams.

Base salary: CAD 132,000–150,000 per year, plus potential equity and benefits.

What you will do

• Implement automated SSO onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Administer and support Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and Asana.
• Design and deliver identity-related security policies with the Security team.
• Identify and execute high-impact automation opportunities across IT services.
• Standardize routine IT tasks and resolve complex technical escalations with preventative solutions.
• Collaborate with Support and Security teams to address systemic IT issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience with SSO integrations using Okta or a similar platform.
• Experience managing cloud applications including Google Workspace, Okta, and Slack.
• Working knowledge of iPaaS tools such as BetterCloud or Workato.
• Experience with ticket-based enterprise workflow management systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a service-oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Python scripting or equivalent automation tools, plus curiosity about AI tools and emerging technologies.
