TL;DR
TechOps Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure/Security): Supporting and evolving a cloud-first internal IT environment with an accent on device management, identity systems, endpoint security, and compliance. Focus on building scalable IT operations, strengthening zero-trust access controls, and supporting SOC 2 and other security frameworks in a high-growth organisation.
Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid model with attendance at the London office 3 days per week

What you will do
- Operate and evolve the cloud-first internal IT environment, including device management, identity systems, and SaaS tooling.
- Design and improve IT policies, standards, processes, and controls for a secure and scalable organisation.
- Partner with the TechOps Lead and security teams on compliance initiatives including Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and SOC 2.
- Manage endpoint security, access control, identity lifecycle processes, asset visibility, device posture, and system health.
- Evaluate and implement IT tools, escalate complex issues, and build lightweight support processes for a growing business.
- Support business continuity and resilience planning from an IT systems perspective.
Requirements
- Proven experience supporting IT in a modern, cloud-first environment.
- Experience scaling IT infrastructure, office locations, vendor relationships, and employee onboarding in a high-growth startup.
- Strong hands-on experience managing macOS fleets with MDM solutions such as Jamf, Kandji, or similar.
- Deep familiarity with SaaS infrastructure, identity providers such as Okta, Google Workspace, or Azure AD, and zero-trust principles.
- Experience with IT controls, access management, endpoint security, and collaboration with security teams on compliance frameworks such as SOC 2.
- Clear cross-functional communication, ownership, and a focus on continuous improvement.
