Digital Consumer Experience Design Lead

Location: Morristown, New Jersey; onsite. Applicants must be US or Puerto Rico residents.

Salary: $133,500–$192,833 per year

What you will do

• Apply design thinking and research methods throughout discovery, problem framing, ideation, prototyping, and delivery.
• Lead product design work by synthesizing research, facilitating ideation, creating prototypes, and supporting implementation.
• Design intuitive experiences for complex scientific workflows and interconnected digital tools.
• Establish coherent user experiences across products, platforms, teams, and end-to-end user journeys.
• Partner with Product, Strategy, Engineering, business, and technology leaders on roadmaps, planning, budgets, capacity, and delivery.
• Champion human-centered design, define user-centered success measures, and iterate based on testing and direct user engagement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Design, HCI, or a related field.
• 7+ years of product design experience, including leading strategy and shipping products.
• Portfolio demonstrating the design process, research integration, and shipped products.
• Advanced product design, human-centered design, discovery research, usability testing, and synthesis skills.
• Mastery of Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, prototyping, wireframing, information architecture, sitemaps, and user flows.
• Experience with Agile development, design systems, platform guidelines, and web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in a relevant field.
