Associate Manager, Content Localization (Games)

What you will do

• Manage a small team of Language Leads, Linguistic Specialists, or reviewers.
• Coordinate daily localization production across text, UI, voice-over scripts, and marketing copy.
• Resolve and escalate terminology, tone, style, and cultural-appropriateness issues.
• Track delivery progress, bug-triage loops, review milestones, documentation, and priorities.
• Mentor direct reports and support training, onboarding, hiring, and development activities.
• Collaborate with LQA, Voice-Over Localization, Marketing Localization, producers, and content teams to maintain terminology and workflow consistency.

Requirements

• Experience in content localization or linguistics, ideally in games, media, or entertainment.
• Strong knowledge of language-quality principles, tone of voice, transcreation, and cultural nuance.
• Familiarity with CAT platforms, terminology-management systems, Jira, Confluence, and CMS tools.
• Ability to manage schedules, track tasks, and support language execution across multiple workstreams.
• Experience mentoring or guiding peers or managing small teams.
• Fluent English required; fluency in at least one supported language is strongly preferred. A bachelor’s degree in linguistics, translation, localization, or a related field is preferred.
