Game Localization Tester (French)

Location: Yokohama, Japan; onsite

What you will do

• Perform linguistic QA testing across game consoles and platforms, from indie games to AAA titles.
• Validate translation quality and cultural appropriateness in French-language game content.
• Run test cases accurately and efficiently according to project requirements.
• Report linguistic and gameplay-related bugs clearly and concisely in a bug database.
• Communicate with team members to deliver consistent and coherent test cases.
• Provide constructive feedback to improve game quality and the player experience.

Requirements

• Native-level French.
• English above conversational level.
• Extensive gaming experience and current knowledge of multiple game genres.
• Experience playing games in French.
• Creativity and excellent attention to detail.
• A valid visa for Japan is required.

Nice to have

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Previous game testing or translation experience.
