What you will do
- Lead and oversee engagement workstreams, ensuring accurate and timely delivery of client work.
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior consultants while delegating responsibilities and maintaining accountability for outcomes.
- Design and execute economic, statistical, and quantitative analyses using transactional, industry, and market datasets.
- Conduct competition economics and antitrust analyses and develop economic models for complex client matters.
- Manage client relationships, present findings to clients and counsel, and contribute to expert reports and other deliverables.
- Support proposals, networking, publications, conference presentations, and other practice-growth initiatives.
Requirements
- Master’s degree or PhD in Economics.
- Proven experience in competition economics analysis, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Experience managing projects, teams, and multiple stakeholder relationships.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Native or near-native English and one other European language required.
- Ability to contribute to mentoring, team management, and business development activities.
Nice to have
- 5–10 years of consulting experience at a leading competition consultancy.
- Deep knowledge of EU competition law and experience with relevant competition authorities.
- Experience with merger control, state aid, or litigation matters.
- Experience with Stata, R, Python, SAS, or similar statistical and data analysis tools.
