Senior Localization Quality Manager

What you will do

• Lead the planning, design, implementation, and scaling of linguistic quality programs for complex localization accounts.
• Develop and operationalize quality frameworks, LQA methodologies, audit processes, policies, and governance standards.
• Analyze audits, quality metrics, and performance data to identify systemic risks, trends, and improvement opportunities.
• Act as a senior escalation point for complex linguistic issues and participate in client discussions, audits, business reviews, RFPs, test translations, and solution design.
• Research and implement linguistic QA technologies, automation solutions, AI-powered tools, dashboards, and data-driven workflows.
• Mentor Localization Quality Managers and Associates and establish best practices for terminology, translation memories, style guides, memoQ workflows, and language asset governance.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation, Linguistics, or a related discipline.
• At least 5 years of localization industry experience, including substantial linguistic quality assurance and CAT tools experience.
• At least 3 years of leadership or management experience in quality-focused roles.
• Experience leading cross-functional quality initiatives and complex or large-scale localization programs for enterprise clients.
• Advanced knowledge of LQA tools, linguistic evaluation frameworks, translation memory, terminology, style guides, and language asset governance.
• Fluency in English is required, along with strong analytical, communication, coaching, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
