Supervisor Operations

Location: Maple Grove, Minnesota, United States. The role requires rotating shifts and/or on-call availability.

Salary: $97,600–$138,600 per year.

What you will do

• Supervise internal and contract operations employees while promoting safe, efficient, cost-effective, and reliable work execution.
• Provide safety leadership through meetings, job briefings, audits, training, investigations, and job-site observations.
• Monitor operational efficiency, reliability, quality, productivity, and process-adherence metrics, taking corrective action when needed.
• Coordinate crew skills and availability with coordinators, planners, and schedulers to support customer satisfaction and reliability.
• Recruit, coach, train, and manage employee performance, engagement, development, grievances, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate work documentation and processes to meet company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• At least three years of experience in utility systems, power generation plants, design, construction, operations, engineering, maintenance, or a related field.
• Knowledge of functional-area standards, procedures, government and environmental regulations, work and asset management, and analytical or reporting applications.
• Ability to lead change, communicate strategies and objectives, achieve operational metrics, and drive process adherence.
• Experience working as or with bargaining-unit employees and supervising employees; completion of an approved apprentice program in a related craft.
• Understanding of utility finance and ability to work rotating shifts and/or be on call.
• An associate or technical degree is preferred.
