Director of Treasury

Location: Brookline, Massachusetts, United States; remote work with occasional onsite attendance

Salary: $188,500–$207,400 per year

What you will do

• Lead cash, liquidity, debt, investment, and treasury management operations.
• Develop treasury strategies, policies, budgets, and controls supporting financial stability, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee debt issuance, refunding, credit lines, covenant compliance, and related reporting.
• Lead capital structure planning and bond issuance to optimize borrowing capacity and cost of capital.
• Partner with Finance on balance sheet, income statement, cash flow, and multi-year financial forecasting.
• Represent the Institute with auditors, financial advisors, investment managers, bankers, rating agencies, and the Board Investment Committee; supervise and develop treasury staff.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Business Administration required.
• 8+ years of experience in a financial or related field.
• 5 years of management experience.
• 5 years of progressively responsible treasury management experience across treasury functions.
• Advanced knowledge of treasury management principles, cash forecasting, liquidity planning, treasury controls, and not-for-profit accounting.
• Proficiency in treasury management systems and strong accounting, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
