TL;DR
Director, Treasury (AI): Scaling treasury operations for a multi-gigawatt AI infrastructure buildout with an accent on liquidity planning, investment management, forecasting, financing compliance, and risk management. Focus on building Treasury policies and systems for IPO readiness, managing complex intercompany and cross-border structures, and leading a growing team.
Location: Hybrid, with presence in the San Francisco or San Jose office four days per week; work-from-home day is Tuesday
Annual salary: $240,000–$320,000

What you will do
- Own cash management strategy, liquidity planning, and working capital optimization.
- Build the corporate cash investment management platform and develop cash flow forecasting infrastructure, including a Treasury Management System.
- Establish risk management policies covering foreign exchange, interest rates, and power risk.
- Manage banking relationships, financing compliance, intercompany funding structures, cross-border transactions, and SPV account waterfalls.
- Partner with Capital Markets and FP&A on capital allocation, IPO readiness, insurance, and scaling initiatives.
- Build the Treasury team and prepare materials for executive leadership, the CFO, auditors, and board committees.
Requirements
- 8+ years of progressive experience in treasury, corporate finance, or a related function, including senior-level experience at a high-growth or pre-IPO technology company.
- Expertise in cash flow forecasting, liquidity management, and bank relationship management.
- Experience with ERP systems and Treasury Management Systems.
- Broad knowledge of cash management, debt and covenant compliance, capital markets, insurance, and financial risk management.
- People leadership experience, advanced Excel and financial modeling skills, and strong presentation and cross-functional communication abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; CTP or CFA preferred.
Nice to have
- Experience with interest rate or power derivatives and ISDA documentation.
- Experience with GPU, data center, or other capital-intensive infrastructure financing.
- SOX readiness or public company treasury experience.
- Experience building AI tools or embedding AI into treasury workflows.
