Adjunct Instructor - Accounting, Finance, Economics, and Real Estate

Location: Stephenville and Fort Worth, Texas campuses; instruction may be delivered in person or through approved instructional modalities. Positions are assigned on an as-needed basis for the 2025–2026 academic year.

What you will do

• Plan, prepare, and deliver lectures, seminars, and laboratory instruction for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Develop course syllabi, select instructional materials, and create exams, quizzes, papers, and other assessments.
• Assess student performance, provide timely feedback, and evaluate learning outcomes.
• Use active learning, technology, and innovative teaching methods to support engagement and critical thinking.
• Hold office hours, mentor students, and provide academic guidance and assignment support.
• Follow university policies, academic integrity standards, and accreditation requirements; serve as a Campus Security Authority.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in accounting, finance, economics, real estate, or a closely related field from an accredited university.
• At least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
• Ability to teach disciplinary subject matter at undergraduate and graduate levels and collaborate professionally with students, staff, and faculty.

• Employment is contingent on credential verification and a criminal history investigation.

Nice to have

• Doctorate or terminal degree in the discipline or a closely related field.
• Previous collegiate online teaching experience.
• At least three years of relevant senior industry experience.
