Adjunct Faculty - Dual Credit Political Science

Location: Commerce, Texas, United States. Instruction may be delivered on-campus or off-campus, with preference for face-to-face teaching. Ability to travel and a flexible schedule are required.

What you will do

• Teach up to seven semester credit hours, covering up to two Political Science courses.
• Develop and manage course syllabi in accordance with department and college standards.
• Prepare lectures, in-class discussions, assignments, and examinations.
• Assess student participation, coursework, class performance, and examinations.
• Assist and mentor students as needed.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the field for undergraduate teaching, or a terminal degree in the field or a closely related discipline for graduate teaching.
• At least three years of teaching experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others.
• Ability to travel and maintain a flexible schedule.
