Assistant General Manager (Sports Entertainment)

Location: Waco, Texas, United States; onsite role with evenings, weekends, holidays, extended hours during peak periods, special events, and high-volume seasons.

What you will do

• Oversee department managers and venue teams across guest experience, food and beverage, golf services, facilities, and events.
• Own day-to-day execution, operating standards, staffing, safety, and leader accountability.
• Act as General Manager when needed and take full responsibility for venue performance.
• Forecast sales and expenses, monitor business metrics, and improve profitability.
• Coach direct reports, support hiring and scheduling, and build engaged, high-performing teams.
• Develop guest, community, partnership, and brand-building experiences.

Requirements

• 5+ years of restaurant, hotel, or entertainment venue management experience.
• At least 2 recent years as an Assistant General Manager or General Manager in a multi-unit operation.
• Demonstrated success leading multi-unit operations in a high-volume environment.
• Ability to obtain required licenses and certifications for the location.
• Must be 21 or older where required by state or local law.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred; equivalent education and professional experience considered.
