Senior Microsoft 365 Platform Engineer (Microsoft 365)

What you will do

• Serve as the senior technical authority for the Microsoft 365 platform, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, Entra ID, Intune, Purview, and Power Platform.
• Design, implement, and maintain scalable M365 solutions aligned with security, compliance, and governance standards.
• Lead complex troubleshooting and provide Tier 3/4 escalation support for M365-related issues.
• Define governance models covering data lifecycle management, retention policies, sensitivity labels, and access controls.
• Shape the long-term M365 roadmap, evaluate new Microsoft services, and align platform capabilities with business objectives.
• Improve support processes, documentation, knowledge transfer, training, and technical enablement across IT teams.

Requirements

• 7+ years of IT experience, including 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft 365 engineering experience.
• Deep expertise in Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra ID, and Intune.
• Strong understanding of identity, authentication, conditional access, and modern endpoint management.
• Experience designing and implementing M365 governance, compliance, security, and information protection controls.
• Ability to lead complex technical initiatives, influence platform strategy, and communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert or Security Administrator.
• Experience with PowerShell automation and Power Platform, including Power Automate and Power Apps.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale M365 environments and serving as a senior escalation point.
