Maintenance Technician I - 2nd Shift (Electronics)

Location: Duncan, South Carolina, United States; on-site, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Install, diagnose, repair, wire, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and controls used in production and building systems.
• Service motors, pumps, relays, circuit breakers, electronic machine controls, circuits, computers, printers, and related equipment.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on production equipment and machinery.
• Install and maintain complex machine tools, test stands, and building equipment with minimal direction.
• Work with the Facilities and Maintenance Manager and the Facilities and Maintenance Team.

Requirements

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Extensive knowledge of electronic systems, components, and their functions.
• Ability to lift at least 35 lbs. daily, stand for up to 8 hours or more, and frequently twist and bend.

Nice to have

• Trade school degree in electronics or experience with electrical repair and wiring.
• At least 5 years of experience in electronics and machine maintenance.
• Microsoft Office and SAP experience in a manufacturing environment.
