Maintenance Technician - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Install, monitor, modify, and maintain manufacturing and facilities equipment.
• Perform preventive and reactive maintenance using electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting techniques.
• Identify equipment improvement opportunities and resolve equipment, process, and material issues.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, customers, suppliers, and equipment vendors to resolve equipment-related problems.
• Support preventive-maintenance scheduling, maintenance records, spare-parts inventory, and technician training.
• Keep production machinery operating reliably, efficiently, and within schedule and budget.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Strong background in electrical and electronic systems, mechanics, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
• Ability to troubleshoot and maintain complex equipment.
• Two-year associate degree in electro-mechanical technology, engineering automation, or industrial maintenance, and/or equivalent skills with three years of applicable experience preferred.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows; communication and leadership skills preferred.
• Must comply with US export-control requirements; access to ITAR products and related technical data is restricted to US citizens and US permanent residents.

Nice to have

• Ability to weld different metals and plastics.
• Experience operating a milling machine and lathe.
