Director of Corporate Communications (Healthcare)

What you will do

• Lead internal and external communications for chronic, acute, and digital business lines, including product launches, lifecycle milestones, digital initiatives, and partnerships.
• Develop global issues and crisis communications programs, scenario plans, messaging frameworks, and response protocols.
• Shape corporate financial and business strategy narratives, including financial results, performance updates, milestones, press statements, Q&A, and disclosures.
• Build therapy awareness and media engagement platforms, including ethical, human-centered patient storytelling programs.
• Lead integrated communications across the Americas and strengthen relationships with customers, health systems, policymakers, and media in the U.S., Canada, and LATAM.
• Advise senior leaders, support enterprise transformation initiatives, and help develop the global communications team and culture.

Requirements

• 10+ years of progressive corporate communications experience, preferably in healthcare, life sciences, medical technology, or another regulated environment.
• Experience spanning agency and in-house communications, with proven corporate financial communications expertise including public company norms, earnings cycles, and disclosure considerations.
• Strong media relations, crisis management, issues communications, and commercial communications experience across multiple therapy areas or product lines.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate complex science, financial information, and strategy into compelling narratives.
• Ability to advise and influence senior leaders, collaborate across geographies and cultures, and work within highly matrixed teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
