Systems Engineer - TEMPEST/EMC

Location: Portsmouth, United Kingdom; hybrid working. Travel is required a couple of times a year.

What you will do

• Specify systems against safety, quality, performance, cost, environmental, operational, and industrial requirements.
• Work with stakeholders to capture end-to-end needs, expectations, and solution boundaries.
• Elicit and validate TEMPEST and EMC requirements across the complete system lifecycle.
• Deliver safe, reliable systems that maximise performance and minimise operational costs.
• Design and define system architectures in collaboration with IS/IT specialists, balancing functions, constraints, and trade-offs.
• Discuss requirements with suppliers of equipment, hardware, software, and firmware.

Requirements

• Strong experience with TEMPEST and EMC.
• Ability to develop systems models and simulation products.
• Experience or interest in applying TEMPEST/EMC within hirify.global projects.
• Knowledge of EMC compliance standards such as MIL-STD-461 is desirable.
• Eligibility to gain SC Security Clearance is required; DV eligibility is preferred.
