Senior Electrical Engineer (Power Electronics)

What you will do

• Lead engineering integration and core engineering teams through system development, requirements definition, and product launch.
• Define system interactions, architectures, hardware and software components, and performance requirements for generators, clean energy solutions, hybrid architectures, and power management systems.
• Develop design requirements, test plans, test procedures, test specifications, and validation reports for new systems and firmware/software.
• Perform electrical simulations, prototype testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and design modifications to improve performance, safety, cost, and manufacturability.
• Create and maintain Statements of Requirements, schematics, BOMs, risk assessments, and FMEA/DFMEA documentation.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, contract manufacturing, design, and product teams while mentoring less experienced engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with complex electronic component and system testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, meters, and related equipment.
• Experience developing component- and system-level test plans, procedures, and reports.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex electronic hardware to the component level and determine root causes across testing, manufacturing, or field environments.
• Strong decision-making, accuracy, communication, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience with PCBA design, fabrication, and manufacturing.
• Firmware development for technology evaluations, electrical design software, and simulation tools.
• Experience designing high-power electronics, renewable energy products, and energy storage systems.
• Experience in new technology research and development.
