Senior Software Engineer (React/JavaScript)

Salary: $158,688–$216,000 per year

What you will do

• Analyze requirements, scope solutions, identify gaps and risks, and recommend corrective actions.
• Create user stories and support the conversion of high-level designs into detailed component and application designs.
• Develop scalable frontend and native mobile components using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, React Native, and related frameworks.
• Build reusable JavaScript and React Native libraries when suitable open-source solutions are unavailable.
• Implement telemetry, analytics, security requirements, automation, and CI/CD processes.
• Create and execute unit, end-to-end, regression, and other test cases; analyze defects and troubleshoot performance and availability bottlenecks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in software engineering or a related field; any amount of experience with the listed required skills will be accepted.
• Experience with TypeScript or JavaScript, ReactJS, Redux, Angular, Backbone.js, jQuery, HTML, CSS, Git, Sass, Stylus, Webpack, and JIRA.
• Experience with React Native for Android and iOS, frontend architecture, and integration with backend and inventory management systems.
• Experience leading and training junior developers and contractors, collaborating with product managers and backend teams, and providing L1 application support.
• Experience with JavaScript testing tools, frontend analytics, and CI/CD tools including Docker, Jenkins, and Bamboo.
