Frontend Web Developer (React)

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States; this position is located in Pullman, WA.

Salary: $97,700–$144,400 per year.

What you will do

• Design, implement, test, document, and support public-facing website components and features.
• Participate in code reviews, design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Recommend and implement software development, testing, and deployment practices based on industry standards.
• Collaborate with team members, stakeholders, systems experts, and designers to solve complex problems and create dynamic interfaces.
• Build and extend components in the custom design system.

Requirements

• B.S. in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or an equivalent qualification.
• 3+ years of web development experience.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and supporting web technologies.
• Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and learning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with React, TypeScript, and Next.js.
• UX design and wireframing experience with Figma.
• Experience with agile development, Git, and automated testing using Jest or Playwright.
• Understanding of cybersecurity, user authentication, and authorization.
