TL;DR
FVP, PMO Program Manager (Fintech): Leading enterprise-wide Agile and Waterfall programs and driving PMO governance, reporting, and continuous improvement with an accent on strategic delivery, executive stakeholder management, and portfolio oversight. Focus on managing complex technology initiatives, allocating budgets and resources, mentoring Project Managers, and mitigating risks across the organization.
Location: HQ - San Diego, California, United States
Salary: $150,000–$180,000 per year, plus target discretionary bonuses of 10% cash and 10% restricted stock units.

What you will do
- Lead and directly manage high-visibility enterprise projects and programs from initiation through delivery.
- Drive PMO governance, project management standards, continuous improvement, and change management.
- Oversee portfolio planning, budgets, timelines, resources, dependencies, risks, and project performance.
- Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, presentations, KPIs, and recommendations for senior leadership.
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to define success metrics and maintain strategic alignment.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate Project Managers while promoting delivery best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree.
- 5+ years of IT Program Management experience in complex enterprise environments.
- Direct people leadership and management experience.
- Experience managing software development and technology implementation projects.
- Knowledge of Project Management Lifecycle and Software Development Lifecycle methodologies, including Agile/Scrum enterprise application development.
- Strong communication, leadership, organizational, problem-solving, budgeting, resource management, and executive stakeholder skills.
Nice to have
- PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certification.
