Finance Manager-Corporate Development

Location: On-site in Waukesha, Wisconsin, United States; occasional travel required.

What you will do

• Serve as the primary finance contact for Corporate Development and coordinate support across Accounting, Treasury, FP&A, and Business Group Finance.
• Manage finance workflows for mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, strategic investments, and other transactions.
• Assess accounting, reporting, internal control, financing, liquidity, cash flow, and capital structure implications during due diligence and deal structuring.
• Coordinate with Tax, Legal, Internal Audit, external advisors, and other stakeholders to support transaction execution and compliance.
• Oversee post-close accounting, including measurement period adjustments, GL mapping, net working capital audits, inventory reconciliation, transition service agreements, earn-outs, escrows, and holdbacks.
• Integrate acquired entities into the internal control environment and drive process improvements and post-transaction performance monitoring.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• CPA or similar certification required.
• 5+ years of experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of public company reporting, internal controls, compliance requirements, SOX controls, and SEC reporting considerations.
• Strong financial analysis, modeling, communication, project management, and cross-functional workflow coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment; occasional travel is required.

Nice to have

• MBA or another advanced degree.
• CFA or similar certification.
• Public company, investment banking, transaction advisory, or corporate development experience.
• Experience supporting M&A transactions and post-merger integration.
