Senior FP&A Analyst

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with attendance at the London office 2–3 days per week. Working from abroad is available for up to 120 days per year, subject to having the right to work in the country of choice.

What you will do

• Develop robust forecasts from commercial, economic, and operational drivers to support business decisions.
• Deliver budgets, long-term plans, scenario analysis, and analysis supporting ICAAP and other capital and strategic decisions.
• Assess risks, opportunities, sensitivities, and management actions within forecasts and plans.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Product, Treasury, Credit Strategy, Valuations, and Impairments teams to monitor performance and challenge assumptions.
• Prepare concise analysis, commentary, and presentations for senior stakeholders and committees.
• Improve FP&A processes, forecasting models, and Anaplan outputs, including the use of AI and workflow automation.

Requirements

• Strong experience in financial analysis, planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
• Ability to translate commercial, economic, and operational drivers into credible financial forecasts and projections.
• Experience interpreting P&L, balance sheet, product performance, capital, liquidity, and risk information.
• Working knowledge of credit risk, impairment forecasting, or IFRS 9.
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, including the ability to explain complex financial information and challenge assumptions constructively.
• Ability to work from the London office 2–3 days per week in a hybrid arrangement.

Nice to have

• Experience in consumer finance, retail banking, or lending products.
• Knowledge of banking products, balance-sheet dynamics, capital, liquidity, funding, and credit risk.
• Experience with ICAAP, ILAAP, recovery planning, stress testing, or bank financial planning.
• Experience with Anaplan or comparable planning systems, AI tools, and workflow automation.
• ACA, ACCA, or CIMA qualification or progress toward one.
