Empower LOS Tester - BSA II (Mortgage Banking)

Location: Fully remote within the United States, with listed locations in California, Los Angeles, and Florida

Starting base salary: $34.55–$55.19 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Serve as the business expert for residential lending systems, including development, maintenance, training, compliance, and end-user support.
• Gather business and system requirements, prepare recommendations, and develop workflows and supporting documentation.
• Design, implement, and support system enhancements for the US Mortgage Banking division.
• Conduct user acceptance, quality assurance, and maintenance testing, including writing test scripts.
• Coordinate with software vendors, BATS, business lines, Legal, Credit Administration, and Product Management.
• Document system changes and communicate updates to the training department while ensuring regulatory compliance.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience as a business or operations analyst supporting loan origination systems.
• At least 4 years of hands-on experience in system design, testing, production support, business requirements, and user acceptance testing.
• At least 4 years of financial industry experience focused on consumer and mortgage lending.
• Experience with mortgage processes from point of sale through servicing and with federal and state regulatory policies.
• Knowledge of software development and maintenance methodologies, quality assurance, business cycle testing, and Agile/Scrum practices.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, documentation, and organizational skills; proficiency with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
