VP, Accounting

What you will do

• Design and lead the accounting operating model across financial reporting, technical accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, venue accounting, and international operations.
• Maintain accurate financial statements and compliance with U.S. GAAP, statutory requirements, company policies, and internal controls.
• Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual close and consolidation processes, improving predictability, quality, and performance metrics.
• Lead the accounting roadmap for SAP, OneStream, Coupa, and related platforms, increasing integration, automation, and standardized workflows.
• Provide executive oversight of technical accounting, audits, controls, acquisitions, financing transactions, and international expansion.
• Build and develop a high-performing organization of more than 50 team members and determine which activities should be centralized, automated, or delivered through shared services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Active CPA certification required.
• Significant progressive leadership experience in a complex accounting organization with a strong U.S. GAAP and technical accounting foundation.
• Demonstrated experience redesigning accounting processes or organizational structures and using technology and automation to improve operations.
• Experience operating in a complex, multi-entity, high-volume environment and leading teams across multiple accounting disciplines and service-delivery models.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• Experience as a Vice President of Accounting, Chief Accounting Officer, Corporate Controller, or senior divisional controller.
• Experience in consumer-facing, hospitality, entertainment, or retail businesses, particularly private equity-backed or undergoing significant change.
• Big Four experience and experience with SAP, OneStream, Coupa, and international statutory reporting.
