Manager of Accounting

What you will do

• Manage monthly and quarterly financial close activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules.
• Oversee inventory accounting, adjustments, reserves, prepaids, leases, PP&E, DTC, SG&A, and other expenses.
• Review customer and vendor setup and pricing in SAP.
• Support financial statement preparation, reporting, variance analysis, and commentary on key business drivers.
• Support internal and external audits and respond to accounting inquiries from global accounting teams.
• Manage, coach, and develop staff accountants while improving processes and internal controls.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or a related field.
• 5–7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 1–2 years of supervisory or management experience.
• CPG or related industry experience.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and financial reporting.
• SAP experience and advanced Excel skills.
• Strong analytical, communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
