Sr. Project Manager, Innovation (Genomics, Reagents, New Product Development)

Location: Sunnyvale, California, United States; on-site. Travel up to 20% domestically and internationally may be required.

Annual salary: $130,000–$150,000, plus eligibility for bonus or incentive pay.

What you will do

• Lead coordination of cross-functional innovation project teams and establish accountability for outcomes and delivery.
• Drive execution rigor, portfolio visibility, and KPI performance across innovation projects.
• Facilitate adoption of hirify.global Business System practices, including standard work, visual management, Kaizen, and structured problem solving.
• Remove project barriers, manage risks, and drive corrective actions to support consistent, on-time delivery.
• Partner with scientific, engineering, and operations teams on next-generation oligonucleotide synthesis technologies and platforms.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Life Sciences, or a related technical field; an advanced degree is preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in R&D, innovation, or technology development, preferably including 3+ years in project or program management.
• Strong knowledge of structured problem solving, project management frameworks, and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Mandarin and English bilingual communication skills are required.
• Ability to travel up to 20% domestically and internationally.

Nice to have

• Experience with hirify.global Business System or a similar lean and continuous improvement environment.
• Experience with oligonucleotide synthesis, genomics, or related life sciences technologies.
