Maintenance Mechanic 3 - 12-Hr Night Shift Front Half

Location: Chanhassen, Minnesota, United States. Onsite 12-hour night shift: 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., Monday through Wednesday and every other Thursday.

Salary: $59,800–$87,588 per year. The pay range is $28.75–$42.11 per hour, with a $2/hour night-shift differential.

What you will do

• Maintain production equipment and respond to equipment errors and failures.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical systems.
• Repair and maintain die cutters, presses, inserting machines, folders, conveyor systems, and bindery equipment.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and technical documentation to complete repairs.
• Manufacture or reproduce replacement parts using welders, lathes, milling machines, drill presses, surface grinders, and other machine-shop equipment.

Requirements

• Experience installing, troubleshooting, repairing, overhauling, aligning, testing, and maintaining complex machinery.
• Advanced knowledge of machine controls and the ability to distinguish mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical, and electronic failures.
• Ability to make precise adjustments for alignment, parallelism, and concentricity.
• Ability to measure air and fluid pressure and flow and interpret the results.
• Ability to interpret multiview drawings, wiring diagrams, manufacturer specifications, and other technical materials.
• Knowledge of construction and assembly techniques, geometry, shop mathematics, and handbook formulas.
