Manager, Emerging Client Collections (Finance)

Salary: $70,600–$176,400 annual base pay

What you will do

• Lead, coach, and develop collections specialists supporting emerging and higher-risk client accounts.
• Drive collection performance, cash flow protection, aging reduction, and issue resolution across a complex accounts receivable portfolio.
• Oversee collection strategies for high-risk accounts, large balances, delayed payments, disputes, and escalations.
• Monitor payment behavior, portfolio trends, disputes, and forecast risk to identify and mitigate collection challenges.
• Partner with Commercial, Finance, Operations, Billing, and Project Finance teams to resolve payment and cash realization issues.
• Improve cash forecasting, KPI reporting, automation, and operational scalability.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounts receivable, collections, cash forecasting, customer payment behavior, and dispute resolution.
• Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume finance operations environment.
• Strong analytical skills for assessing aging, exposure, payment trends, and collection risk.
• Effective communication and influencing skills across finance, commercial, operations, billing, and customer-facing teams.
• Sound business judgment for balancing cash recovery, customer relationships, operational needs, and risk management.
• Strong organizational, prioritization, Microsoft Office, Excel reporting, portfolio management, and forecasting skills.
