Manager, Accounts Receivable

Location: On-site in Naperville, Illinois, or Elkton, Florida

Salary: $79,300–$127,897 per year

What you will do

• Lead a team of accounts receivable analysts responsible for account reconciliation, payment follow-up, and discrepancy resolution.
• Monitor customer payment histories, account aging, deductions, collections, and escalated payment issues.
• Coordinate complex collection and deduction matters with Sales, Finance, Legal, senior management, and third-party collections providers.
• Oversee onboarding for new chain accounts, including financial relationships, collections, and electronic deduction processes.
• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger reconciliations and prepare month-end financial reports.
• Develop operating procedures and internal controls, support audits, and participate in hiring departmental employees.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related business field.
• At least 5 years of accounts receivable or accounts payable experience.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Ability to lead a team, manage multiple priorities, communicate with all levels of management, and resolve complex financial issues.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency, including lookups and pivot tables.
• Occasional travel may be required.
