Manager, Claims Audit, Collections

Location: Houston, Texas, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 remote.

Salary: $73,400–$183,600 annual base pay.

What you will do

• Lead collections and revenue cycle operations for a portfolio of specialty care provider clients.
• Manage, train, and develop Collection Representatives while monitoring onboarding competencies and performance goals.
• Audit daily collection and billing KPIs and oversee collection, billing, and management reporting.
• Resolve technical and workflow issues affecting collections, billing, provider inquiries, and account resolution.
• Identify and implement process improvements, controls, policies, and procedures as operational volume grows.
• Collaborate with other departments on quality, efficiency, reimbursement, and client service initiatives.

Requirements

• Must reside in the United States, the same country where the job is located.
• 5+ years of experience in collections and prior authorization; 15+ years of related collections experience is also listed.
• 3+ years of management experience overseeing collections, billing, or revenue cycle management.
• Knowledge of healthcare revenue cycle management, payer reimbursement methodologies, claims, bundles, and bundled payments.
• Bachelor's degree in healthcare, business, or a related field.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with maternity, orthopedic, or cardiovascular specialty groups.
• Master's degree in a healthcare-related field.
