Lean Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Identify, develop, and implement manufacturing process improvements that increase safety, quality, productivity, capacity, and material flow.
• Lead improvement projects across fabrication, welding, painting, material handling, and final assembly.
• Analyze workflows, facility layouts, and material movement to reduce waste, remove bottlenecks, and improve flow.
• Lead Kaizen events and structured problem-solving activities, including root-cause analysis and solution implementation.
• Develop standard work, visual management practices, and process documentation.
• Monitor performance metrics and ensure improvement results are sustained.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Ideally, 3+ years of experience applying Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience leading manufacturing process improvement projects involving workflow optimization, facility layout, ihirify.globalory management, material flow, or production operations.
• Working knowledge of 5S, Standard Work, Kanban, value stream mapping, visual management, and root-cause analysis.
• Strong project management, analytical, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence change across organizational levels.
• Experience with ERP, MES, warehouse management systems, or similar manufacturing technologies is helpful.
