Production Team Leader (Chemical Manufacturing)

Location: Ashby site, United Kingdom; onsite role

Salary: Starting from £29,562 per annum, plus a performance-related bonus scheme.

What you will do

• Support the day-to-day operation of chemical manufacturing processes and production equipment.
• Maintain housekeeping standards in production areas and promote a 5S culture.
• Cover for the Production Supervisor during periods of absence.
• Identify and initiate manufacturing process improvements in consultation with supervisors and department managers.
• Improve quality, cost, yield, and production throughput.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment.
• Understanding of production specifications and basic chemical production processes.
• Experience or familiarity with equipment operation, chemical safety, PPE, and regulatory requirements.
• Understanding of quality control principles and product consistency.
• Ability to complete production records accurately and follow written procedures.
• Hands-on, reliable, safety-conscious, detail-focused, and effective in a team environment.
