Operations Management Manager (Build) (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Singapore, SGP; onsite production environment

What you will do

• Supervise employees performing assembly, inspection, testing, and final testing of capital equipment, systems, components, and subsystems.
• Prioritize production schedules based on manpower, equipment efficiency, capacity, and material requirements.
• Track operational performance metrics, lead milestone meetings, and improve cycle time and production effectiveness.
• Resolve operations issues affecting customer satisfaction and coordinate conformance with customer and vendor requirements.
• Optimize production capacity and improve manufacturing processes through data analysis, Lean, safety, and quality initiatives.
• Manage employee training, development, performance, hiring, rewards, and disciplinary processes.

Requirements

• Understanding of procedures and concepts within the relevant job family and basic knowledge of related functions.
• Formal supervisory experience, including setting priorities and coaching employees to meet daily deadlines.
• Ability to identify and resolve day-to-day technical and operational problems using sound judgment.
• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including extended standing, walking, bending, kneeling, reaching, lifting, and working in tight or noisy spaces.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment in a clean room, including coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses, gloves, respirators, chemical aprons, and face shields.
