Salary: $97,600–$138,600 per year

What you will do

  • Supervise gas operations crews and drive safe, reliable, compliant, and cost-effective use of resources.
  • Lead safety meetings, job briefs, audits, training, accident investigations, and job site observations.
  • Evaluate operational efficiency, reliability, quality, and performance metrics, taking corrective action when needed.
  • Coordinate crew skills, materials, schedules, and stakeholders to improve productivity, execution quality, and customer satisfaction.
  • Recruit, coach, train, and manage employee performance, engagement, development, and bargaining-unit issues.
  • Coordinate work documentation and processes to meet company policies, labor agreements, and regulatory standards.

Requirements

  • At least three years of experience in utility system design, construction, operations, engineering, maintenance, power generation, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of functional-area standards, procedures, government regulations, and environmental regulations.
  • Experience with work and asset management systems and analytical or reporting applications.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead change, communicate strategies, achieve operational metrics, and drive process adherence.
  • Experience working as or with bargaining-unit employees and completion of an approved apprenticeship in a related craft.
  • Understanding of utility finance; availability for rotating shifts and/or on-call work.

Nice to have

  • Associate or technical degree.
  • Informal leadership or supervisory experience.
