Senior Structural Engineer - Mission Critical

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States; nationwide travel required.

What you will do

• Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
• Identify preliminary design challenges at the start of projects and develop practical solutions.
• Design robust, scalable structures that address seismic, wind, vibration, and dynamic loading conditions.
• Work with architects, engineers, contractors, superintendents, and other field personnel through an integrated design-build process.
• Apply value engineering as designs develop and support construction-schedule-based project delivery.
• Visit jobsites for quality reviews and help resolve field issues, revisions, and changes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• At least 5 years of experience designing mission-critical projects.
• Experience with steel and concrete structures, foundation design, and dynamic loading conditions.
• PE and/or SE license preferred.
• Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable to change.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree with a structural emphasis.
• 3-D CAD experience.
