Senior Structural Engineer - Mission Critical

Location: Phoenix, Arizona, United States; nationwide project travel is required.

What you will do

• Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
• Identify preliminary design problems from the beginning of projects and develop practical solutions.
• Design robust, scalable structures that address seismic, wind, vibration, and dynamic loading conditions.
• Work collaboratively with architects, engineers, contractors, field staff, superintendents, and other on-site personnel.
• Support value engineering, design revisions, construction issue resolution, and quality or site visits.
• Refine project designs in line with construction schedules and builder capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience designing mission-critical projects.
• Experience with steel and concrete structures, foundation design, and dynamic loading conditions.
• Team-oriented attitude with resilience and adaptability to change.
• PE and/or SE license preferred.
• 3-D CAD experience is a plus.
