Senior Structural Engineer (Mission Critical)

Location: St. Louis, Missouri, United States. Projects are nationwide and require travel, including site and quality visits.

What you will do

• Lead the design and analysis of structural systems for data centers and other mission-critical facilities.
• Identify preliminary design problems at the beginning of projects and develop practical solutions.
• Design robust structures using steel, concrete, foundations, and dynamic loading analysis.
• Support value engineering and refine project designs around construction schedules and builder capabilities.
• Visit jobsites and quality locations to help resolve field and construction issues.
• Build effective working relationships with superintendents and other field personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
• At least 5 years of experience designing mission-critical projects.
• Experience with steel and concrete structures, foundation design, and dynamic loading conditions.
• Team-oriented, resilient, and adaptable to changing project requirements.
• PE and/or SE license preferred.
• Master’s degree with a structural emphasis and 3-D CAD experience are preferred.
