Senior Civil Structural Engineer (LT&C)

What you will do

• Design and analyze low-temperature and cryogenic storage structures, including steel plate tanks and concrete outer containment structures.
• Produce and review design calculations, specifications, construction documents, and other assigned engineering deliverables.
• Apply applicable design codes, company standards, customer drawings, and specifications.
• Ensure designs are safe for field erection and use, with constructability in mind.
• Check and sign off on deliverables for customer approval or project use.
• Mentor less experienced engineers and coordinate with engineers, designers, drafters, modelers, detailers, and project functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in civil structural engineering from an accredited school.
• Generally 6+ years of low-temperature and cryogenic tank engineering experience.
• Familiarity with AISC, ASCE, IBC, API, ACI, and related structural and seismic codes.
• Professional Engineering license in at least one state; professional engineering registration is desired.
• Proficiency with engineering software, specialized engineering tools, and Microsoft Office Professional.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work independently.
