Assistant General Manager, Cafe (Hospitality)

What you will do

• Support the General Manager in leading cafe operations, maintaining brand standards, and achieving business objectives.
• Manage facility assets and contribute to financial performance and key cafe metrics.
• Partner with Sales to execute the cafe sales and marketing plan and increase year-over-year entrée counts.
• Coordinate cross-departmental execution of systems, processes, products, and services.
• Build, coach, and hold management and hourly team members accountable for performance and guest satisfaction.
• Implement company and local initiatives, respond to guest feedback, and lead learning and development programs.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of hospitality experience, including restaurant front-line operations.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or documented entrepreneurial hospitality leadership experience.
• Strong leadership, interpersonal, consultative, communication, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Ability to work on-site in the cafe and move throughout the facility for extended periods.
• Ability to tolerate heat, cold, chemicals, and loud environments, and occasionally move objects weighing up to 10 pounds.
• Ability to travel by car or airplane for extended periods.
