Localization Project Manager (Game Localization)

Location: Mexico (Remote)

What you will do

• Plan, set up, and deliver localization projects for gaming clients.
• Create project budgets and schedules while monitoring costs, revenue, and margins.
• Communicate with customers to understand requirements and advise on localization workflows.
• Assign and coordinate work across translation, technical, audio, and QA teams.
• Support process improvements and guide projects toward high-quality delivery.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of project management experience in localization, including managing translation projects end to end.
• At least 2 years of experience working with CAT tools.
• Experience with project financials, including budget planning and margin analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, interpersonal, leadership, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in English in written and spoken communication.
• Strong Excel skills and a bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• A degree in linguistics or language studies.
• Gaming interest or experience as a gamer.
• Knowledge of memoQ and other languages.
• Understanding of game localization workflows, including testing and audio production.
• Experience managing multimedia projects such as subtitling or voiceover.
