Automation Technician (Equipment Owner) - Shift

Location: Brantford, Ontario, Canada; onsite work at the Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre. The site operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, with rotating 12-hour day, night, and evening shifts. Overtime and holiday or weekend shifts may be required.

Starting pay: $26.96 CAD per hour.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot automated systems and equipment.
• Support autonomous robots used for case, layer, and pallet movement.
• Perform preventive maintenance and monitor equipment performance.
• Analyze technical data and trends to identify issues proactively.
• Maintain efficient fulfillment of customer orders and develop mechanical, electrical, software, digital, and robotics capabilities.
• Build technical skills in other employees.

Requirements

• High school diploma or diploma from a trade or technical college in electrical, mechanical, automation, robotics, engineering, or digital/software studies.
• Ability to work onsite in Brantford, Ontario, and complete rotating 12-hour shifts, including days, evenings, and overnight shifts.
• Applied mechanical skills in an industrial environment; electrical, digital/software, and robotics experience is an asset.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, issue-resolution, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work at heights, climb stairs, ladders, and platforms, and move around equipment.
• Ability to work in a team and communicate and collaborate effectively.
