Automation Team Leader/Chef d'équipe en automatisation

Location: Brantford, Ontario, Canada, at the Greater Toronto Fulfillment Centre. On-site, shift-based role with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts; weekend and holiday overtime may be required. Relocation is not offered.

Starting pay: $39.32 per hour.

What you will do

• Lead automated warehouse processing results and manage equipment owners and area technicians.
• Coach technicians, build technical capabilities, and establish standards for sustainable performance.
• Identify, analyze, prioritize, and eliminate line losses, failures, inefficiencies, and manual intervention.
• Deliver and start up new equipment, initiatives, and projects in collaboration with technical experts and other manufacturing sites.
• Manage daily direction-setting and the line DMS while driving operational excellence, safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
• Integrate digital tools, train team members on digital solutions, and use analyses and models to optimize resources, time, and costs.

Requirements

• High school diploma and at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing, warehousing, or a similar industry managing people.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, interpersonal, time-management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to set standards, teach, influence across functions, build consensus, and provide technical direction.
• Ability to work assigned rotating 12-hour shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and overnight shifts.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding warehouse and manufacturing environment, including heights, ladders, confined areas, extreme temperatures, and lifting objects up to 50 lb.
• Immigration and work-authorization sponsorship is not available; candidates must already be authorized to work in Canada.
