Lead Research Engineer - Power Systems

Location: Pullman, Washington, United States. United States citizenship is required.

Salary: $115,300–$170,400 per year.

What you will do

• Collaborate with colleagues and customers to define system specifications for new products.
• Help establish long-term product and process strategies and evaluate emerging technologies.
• Integrate electrical protection and communication equipment into coherent power systems.
• Simulate and analyze power system designs, including timing analysis.
• Support the testing and manufacturing of electronic devices.
• Lead a team of engineers in achieving program goals for Navy and shipboard applications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Expertise in power system design, integration, and protection.
• Familiarity with requirements engineering and Model-Based Systems Engineering.
• Experience with simulation, timing analysis, and drafting.
• Experience with the U.S. Navy or other marine applications.
• United States citizenship is required.
