Senior Hardware Engineer

Location: Boise, Idaho, United States; 100% on-site

Salary: $160,600–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Invent, analyze, and design complex analog and digital systems that meet product specifications.
• Lead technically complex projects and participate in executive project reviews.
• Lead hardware design reviews and develop hardware and system-level specifications.
• Write and review complex test plans, supervise testing, and evaluate test results.
• Mentor and coach engineers and technicians while contributing to technical meetings, seminars, and conferences.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent education and experience.
• 10+ years of related engineering or management experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in one or more engineering disciplines or technologies.
• Experience designing, producing, and supporting successful products or processes.
• Leadership, mentorship, technical problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to work 100% on-site in Boise, Idaho.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with power utility practices.
• Strong project management knowledge and skills.
• Supervisory experience or training.
